This year’s Wing Conference will be at the Crown Plaza Minneapolis West in Plymouth, MN.
This location makes it cost-effective and convenient for Anoka members to be day participants at the Wing Conference! Anoka cadets are encouraged to attend the Friday night social and all Saturday conference events. Per 2026 MNWG Conference Guidelines, Anoka cadets may not stay overnight at the Wing Conference hotel.
Required In-Person Check Ins:
Fri PM 1815-1830: In-person check in w/MSgt Dinneen near Registration.
Fri PM 2130-2145: Check out w/MSgt Dinneen confirming your departure from the hotel
Sat AM 0645-0700: In-person check in w/Lt Col Albright near Registration. This timing is required so everyone has time to eat breakfast and get to the General Assembly area by the 0755 deadline. We must have accountability for all registered cadets. Please do not be late.
Sat PM NLT 2315: Check out w/Lt Col Albright confirming your departure from the hotel
Expectations
- No funny business/shenanigans (you are representing our squadron)
- Do not leave the property
- If your cadet peers have a hotel room, males and females are not allowed in each other’s hotel rooms at any time
- Wingman system when going from the conference area to/from hotel rooms or anywhere else (groups of 3 preferred)
- During the afternoon Saturday, cadets do not need to stay with a wingman as long as they are in the conference center area where all the learning sessions are.
- You are free to attend any learning session you want individually
- You MUST check in with your senior point of contact Saturday morning before the General Assembly and Saturday evening after the cadet party before departing the hotel
- For emergencies at any time, contact Lt Col Albright.
- Call 911 first if true medical emergency
Follow the cardinal rule of CAP – Don’t be stupid
Don’t do anything that reflects poorly on you, your unit or Civil Air Patrol
If your grandmother wouldn’t approve, we won’t either. Don’t do it.
What is Wing Conference and why should I go?
Each year, every Wing has a conference with:
- General Sessions for announcements and wing-wide recognition
- Learning Sessions across all topics – for seniors and cadets
- Networking – meet others from across the wing
- Awards Banquet
- Military Ball and Cadet Activities
Many Anoka cadets and seniors who have been nominated for Wing Awards.
It’s a great time to attend and support your fellow wingmen.

What is the dress code for this event?
Friday Social – casual
Saturday Conference – Blues for the morning and afternoon schedule.
Saturday Banquet: This is a formal banquet and awards event
- Male members – Blues, Corporate Service Dress or civilian jacket and tie or shirt and tie
- Female members – Blues, Corporate Service Dress or evening wear
2026 MNWG Conference Registration Information Summary
Deadline to Register: April 17
This is the deadline Anoka leadership requires you to register. It allows us a full week to prepare to help you have the most fun and successful Wing Conference experience.
Minimum Conference Investment: $160
This conference registration investment amount includes breakfast and lunch all-you-can-eat buffets, dinner banquet all-you-can-eat buffet, snacks and beverages throughout the day, general sessions, four learning lab sessions, training materials, awards, military ball and all activities on Sat. April 25.
Though the registration system is broken out by line item, Anoka wants parents to be informed that we expect all cadet conference attendees to attend the entirety of the onsite program on Saturday. This approach delivers an exceptional training and networking conference experience that equally provides a safe and fun experience for cadets.
Here’s what you select when completing your cadet’s online registration:
Conference Registration: $85
This includes:
- Breakfast on Saturday
- Continuous Deluxe Breakfast & AM Break includes Chef’s choice of 2 hot breakfast items, hot oatmeal, assorted bakery items, whole or prepared fresh fruits, individual yogurt cups, and granola bars.
- Lunch on Saturday
- Chef’s choice of our famous EUROPA Buffet that includes soup of the day, Chef’s choice garden salad & compound salad, daily grill item, 2 hot entrees, starch, vegetable, and selection of desserts.
- Afternoon Snack Break on Saturday
- Chef’s choice of healthy, savory, and sweet treats & snacks.
- Beverages throughout the day on Saturday
- Continuous beverages served throughout the day including coffee, assorted teas, juices, and soft drinks.
- All conference materials and learning sessions on Saturday
Awards Banquet: $75
This includes an all-you-can-eat Signature Buffet, Wing Awards event, cadet party and military ball
- Chicken wild rice soup
- Spinach salad with strawberries, red onion, goat cheese, served with balsamic vinaigrette
- German potato salad
- Sautéed chicken breast with artichoke butter
- Roast pork loin with pineapple salsa
- Salmon with bourbon glaze
- Herb roasted fingerling potatoes
- Brown butter green topped carrots
*All Signature Buffets are served with freshly baked rolls, butter, Chef’s Choice dessert buffet, coffee, tea and milk
